After spending 10 years in the Philippines, Ryo studied International Business and Economics at the Faculty of Comparative Culture in Sophia University (Tokyo Japan). Ryo has been involved with J-Seed Ventures since 2005, from 2nd year of University and graduated in September 2007. He participated in several J-Seed Ventures’ partner companies including Sozon and Mobikyo. Ryo was a director at Mobikyo and managed their highly successful Mobile Monday Tokyo event. In 2009, he was in charge of starting up an iPhone ad network in Japan at Traffic Gate, Ltd. (now merged with LinkShare Japan K.K., A Rakuten, Inc. Group Company). Most recently, he has founded Pido Inc. He also writes about venture companies for CNET Japan and is an organizer of NetTokyo, a major charity networking event held annually in Tokyo. Ryo is a entrepreneur who possesses a multi-cultural background with strong industry experience in mobile and online marketing.
